NiQ Health recently announced that it will shortly announce the addition of a infinitely flexible soft call point system PC’s and touch screen PC’s to its CarePlus™ nurse call product. This will enable patients to differentiate the priority of calls for assistance based upon; clinical calls; nursing aid calls; back of house calls for room turn around efficiency and hotel service calls.
The CarePlus™ solutions’ ability to integrates to legacy patient call buttons in rooms and at beds to the various communication systems throughout the hospital addresses the key enabler of any healthcare provider to ensure financial efficiencies do not have an adverse impact on patient outcomes.

A Global Data report has prediced that the global hospital information systems (HIS) market will exceed $18bn in 2016, rising from $7.8bn in 2009.
Global Data expects the market to grow from its 2009 level at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13%.

Ramsey Health Care (ASX RHC) has selected CarePlus™, for the $229.8 million major expansion of Joondalup Health Campus
Ramsey Health Care (ASX RHC) has selected CarePlus™, for the $229.8 million major expansion of Joondalup Health Campus, which will double the size of the existing facility. The expansion, will deliver healthcare to public patients under a long-standing and successful private public partnership between Ramsay Health Care and the WA Department of Health.
By 2013, the expanded Joondalup Health Campus will have a combined total of 536 beds (from the current 280) making it the third largest hospital in the Perth metropolitan area. [Read more …]

Hollywood Hospital selects CarePlus™
Hollywood Hospital selected CarePlus™ after a competitive tender with Nurse Call Supplier; Sedco Communications, (Wangara, Western Australia).
CarePlus™ will integrate the patient call buttons in rooms and at beds into various communication systems throughout the hospital. Integration includes; paging, ward signs, large screen information boards, including 75 A&E beds and 11 theatres. CarePlus™ will combine these disparate Care Areas into a simple interface “Ward Status” available on any hospital PC via a web interface. CarePlus™ provides extensive reporting and Business Intelligence software capabilities providing significant workflow efficiencies and improved patient safety.
